Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview
At ZOHAL Couture, each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted and often made-to-order with a strong focus on quality, detail, and craftsmanship.
Due to the bespoke nature of our collections—including bridal gowns, evening wear, rental pieces, and traditional Afghan garments—our return and refund policy is limited and outlined below.
2. Custom-Made Items
All custom-made and made-to-order items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
This includes:
- Custom Bridal Dresses (made-to-measure or made-to-order)
- Bridal Rental Dresses (custom prepared or adjusted)
- Evening Dresses (custom or made-to-order)
- Afghan Traditional Dresses (handmade & customized)
Each piece is created specifically for you based on your measurements, selections, and event requirements.
3. EU Consumer Rights Exception
In accordance with the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, the standard 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to:
- Goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized
As all our pieces are custom-made, they are exempt from the standard return period.
4. Rental Orders
For rental items:
- All bookings are final and non-refundable once confirmed
- Rental fees include preparation, tailoring, and reservation of the garment
- Cancellations, late changes, or non-use are not eligible for refunds
We kindly encourage confirming all event details prior to placing a rental order.
5. Quality Assurance & Order Issues
Every item undergoes careful inspection prior to shipment to ensure it meets our quality standards and is dispatched in excellent condition.
While rare, minor imperfections may occasionally occur during transit.
If you receive an item that is:
- Significantly damaged
- Defective
- Incorrect (wrong item or design)
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

Include:
- Your order number
- Clear photographic evidence of the issue
Once reviewed and confirmed, we will offer an appropriate solution, which may include:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Partial refund
- Refund of the item cost (excluding shipping fees) if repair or replacement is not feasible
For incorrect items, we will arrange a replacement as quickly as possible following confirmation.
We are committed to working with you to ensure a fair and satisfactory resolution.
6. Client Responsibility
To ensure the best possible outcome, clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate measurements
- Carefully reviewing design selections before confirming the order
- Ensuring correct shipping details
ZOHAL Couture cannot be held responsible for issues resulting from incorrect information provided at the time of purchase.
7. Fit & Alterations
As each piece is handmade and produced using standard sizing or custom specifications, slight variations in fit may occur.
Please note:
- Minor local alterations may be required after delivery
- Garment length is standardized and may vary depending on individual height
We strongly recommend reviewing all sizing information carefully prior to purchase.
Due to the nature of our craftsmanship:
- Returns or refunds are not accepted based on fit preferences or minor adjustments
- Length-related concerns are not eligible for return or refund
8. Cancellations
- Orders may only be canceled within 24 hours of purchase
- Once production has begun, cancellations are no longer possible
This is due to immediate material sourcing and production scheduling.
9. Non-Returnable Conditions
We do not accept returns or refunds in the following cases:
- Items that have been worn, used, or altered
- Items damaged after delivery
- Requests based on personal preferences (style, color, or fit expectations)
